In this tutorial, we’ll create a cute bird’s nest with a cracked eggshell inside of it. We’ll start by drawing our artwork with the Pen Tool, bringing it to life with the Gradient Tool, and finishing it up by adding shadows and highlights. We’ll use some often-neglected Illustrator tools and features, such as the set of symbol tools in the Tools panel and working with color groups in the Swatches panel. (more…)
